Joint Standing Committee on Artificial Intelligence
Established in 2026, the Joint Standing Committee on Artificial Intelligence is the Faculty Senate's new joint standing committee on AI; Tiffany Petricini, Ph.D., serves as co-chair. It succeeds the Joint Standing Committee on Effective and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Instruction (2024–2026), whose reports below continue to shape University guidance and faculty development, including the 2026–27 TILE community on AI-assisted grading.
